Myron Yusypovych

The conductor (Myron Yusypovych) avoided the ever-present temptation in the performance of this work, to yield to excessive emotionalism, to exaggerate some of the elements and to succumb to the theatrical. He clearly sought to achieve the natural, an equilibrium and harmony. Thus “Requiem” emerged in its full richness and evolving passions. No part of the depth and essence of its expression was lost.
